Opportunity to Train the Indonesian National Team, Shin Tae-yong Gets a Message from the Vietnam Coach
SUPERBALL.ID - South Korean trainer, Shin Tae-yong, got a message from the Vietnam national team coach, Park Hang-seo, regarding his chance to train the Indonesian national team.
Shin Tae-yong is a strong candidate for the Indonesian national team coach to replace Simon McMenemy.
Shin Tae-yong even had a meeting and presentation with the PSSI board in Malaysia on November 19th.
In connection with opening up the way for Shin Tae-yong to train the Indonesian national team, his senior and fellow countryman who is now gush Vietnam National Park Park Hang-seo conveyed the message.
Park Hang-seo, who has been coaching Vietnam since 2017, advised that training the national team in Southeast Asia is not easy even though he admitted Shin Tae-yong is a capable coach.

"Shin Tae-yong is a brother I know and I love. The fact that he is glimpsed by Indonesia means he does have the ability," Park Hang-seo was quoted as saying by SuperBall.od from Vietnamese media, Vtc.vn.
"In fact, training any national team in Southeast Asia is difficult. It's not easy because there are differences in communication, habits and culture."
"Indonesia is a country with Islamic culture, so of course it's different. Hopefully Shin can go to the place that is most suitable for him."
At present, Shin Tae-yong is still unable to provide an answer regarding his willingness to accept the assignment as an Indonesian national team coach.
Moreover, he was also widely reported to have received offers from clubs, one of which was Shenzhen FC who played in the Chinese League.
The 50-year-old coach also promised to make decisions no later than the next two weeks.
Park Hang-seo reminded that whatever choice was made then Shin Tae-yong must always ensure that the team can be a place to develop their careers.
"Salaries, conditions and reputation are important. But even more important is that you have to go to a place where you can build a coaching career." Park Hang-seo continued.
